Personality Bio
Kelly Ryan grew up in Orchard Park, NY a suburb of Buffalo; and says 'Yes it's very cold there with LOTS of snow!'

She started her career 17 years ago (really the 17 yr mark hits at the end of Aug) in Laramie, Wyoming. Kelly was attending the University of Wyoming and planned to major in Engineering. Clearly she got side tacked as playing music on the radio doesn't often require her to pull out a t-square or blueprints!

Kelly has worked in many formats over the years including Hot AC, CHR, Rock, Oldies, Alternative, Soft AC, Hip Hop/Urban, Country, Classic Country and Classic Rock. Even in Kelly's spare time she can be found behind the microphone working on various projects from her home studio where she runs her own Production Company. Kelly has been a leading voice talent in Houston, Dallas and across the country for the last 10 years. Look for 2 DVD releases coming in the fall of 2006 with Kelly's voice (s). One is a classic Grimm's Fairy Tale DVD set featuring 36 Tales, the other is an Alice in Wonderland DVD.

When  not working behind the mic, Kelly enjoys gardening, roller blading, camping, hiking, biking, hanging out with friends/family and her Rottwieler, Grizzley. An avid sports fan, Kelly enjoys watching football, (Go Bills!!! And Texans) tennis and soccer; and participating in snow skiing, rollerblading, raquetball, tennis, field hockey, lacrosse, softball...

Link it Like That!
I love to surf the Web and am always looking for cool new sites. If you come across one you think I'd enjoy please shoot me an email so I can check it out!

Here are some of my fav sites.

For Pet Owners a Must Read:
http://www.entirelypets.com/toxicfoods.html - this site will tell you all things toxic for your pets. Some will surprise you, like did you know a grape or raisin can kill your dog? With the holidays here be especially careful of Mistletoe and Poinsetta's!

www.animal-acupuncture.org - This is the Vet I use for Grizzley. Dr Baley is a grad of Texas A+M college of Veterinary Medicine (DVM 1999) and has had advanced training in both traditional western veterinary medicine as well as Acupuncture (IVAS) and traditional chinese herbal therapy ( The Chi Institute.) She practices traditional chinese medicine and acupuncture in the Bryan/College Station, Houston and Austin areas. Oh and makes HOUSE CALLS!! So cool!

http://www.Truthorfiction.com - You know all those emails that spread like wildfire but seem a bit too unbelievable?! ie; 'a special new spider that waits to attack you from underneath toilet seats'... or 'watch out for needles on gas pump handles'! Well this site will clue you in as to whether they are Truth or Fiction. I always go there now before forwarding any email to friends that way none of us look foolish :)

http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/earthkindrose/ - I'm an avid gardener and have 11 rose bushes! Yes traditional roses are finicky and require a lot of time, but this link from A&M is awesome. If you're thinking of buying roses try to find one of the varieties they list here. They are resistant to many of the issues roses are plagued by; ie - black spot, powdery mildew...

http://www.gardenersnet.com/ - Another must log on to site for gardeners. Any query you may have can most likely be answered here.

http://imdb.com/ - Okay how many times have you been chatting w/someone and either you or they are trying to remember; the name of an actor, what movie they were in, who directed a picture, or even who did the soundtrack. This site will instantaneously answer all those questions and more. Also a great cheat site to prepare for an upcoming game of Scene It!!

http://www.letssaythanks.com/ Here's one I just found! Really great way, and super fast too, to say thank you to our troops. Just log on, pick a card to send and a message to include and Xerox will send the card to a soldier absolutely FREE!!! After all it wouldn't be home of the free without the brave; let's thank the troops for thier incredible bravery and show how much we appreciate them and thier sacrifices.

Johnny Depp will be all over the place!! Yeah!!
Monday 10-06-2008 10:53am CT
Hope you're having a great day!
I'm so excited about all 3 of these projects that Johnny Depp has signed on for with Disney.
Here's the scoop.

Disney film bosses have announced three new movies that Johnny Depp has signed on for. Disney chairman Dick Cook revealed the news during a press conference at Los Angeles’ Kodak Theatre on Wednesday, detailing plans for upcoming films that would tie Depp to the studio for the next few years.
Cook confirmed that a third sequel to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise was in the works. Also that Johnny would star as The Mad Hatter in director Tim Burton’s forthcoming adaptation of Alice In Wonderland.

And, topping off the list of projects, will be a big screen version of The Lone Ranger, which will see Depp reteam with Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer. However, Depp will not take on the lead role of the Lone Ranger himself - he will instead be the hero’s sidekick, Tonto. George Clooney is going to play The Lone Ranger.

So if you've been calling Johnny and he hasn't returned your call yet... it's prob bcs he's just really busy!! ;p

There is word this morning that by reprising his role as Jack Sparrow for Pirates of the Caribbean Johnny will be paid $56 Million Dollars!!! Making him the highest paid actor of all time. Before that the record was held by Tom who did the Da Vinci Code for $51 million.

Gwen and Gavin took Kingston out for some fresh air and fun this past weekend. They hit a park in Beverly Hills. If we didn't know Gwen had just given birth a few months ago, these pics sure wouldn't clue you in. She looks so fabulous!

Good Monday to you
Monday 09-08-2008 11:26am CT
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Weather was great wasn't it! Thanks to Gustav for taking the humidity away for a week or so!! Now we're watching Ike as he makes his way into the gulf. Looks like it might head towards Galveston and if so then we could get some Tropical Storm activity from Ike next week. So Ike is definitely one to keep your eyes on.

Found some pics of Gavin Rossdale out with Kingston to celebrate on of Posh's son's Birthdays. They hung with Heidi Klum and her kids too.

And a pic of Gwen post birth of Zuma. It's only been about 2 weeks since she gave birth but she already looks to be droppin the baby weight.

Have a great day.

Almost half way through work week already!
Wednesday 09-03-2008 11:08am CT

Don't you love 4 day work weeks! We're almost half way through already!
Found some news on Gwen from an interview she just gave.
Gwen Stefani says that having kids has brought she and hubby Gavin Rossdale closer together. She says of Zuma Nesta Rock and Kingston ...

"(It’s great to) see how we’ve both become more romantic and caring for each other simply because we’ve seen how beautiful it is to have come this far together and started a new chapter in our lives… I feel we’re closer in many ways now that we’re building something together outside our own crazy relationship.

"I feel happier now. I know every mother must feel this way, but watching your child grow up and learn new things every day is one of the greatest and purest pleasures you can have."

And if you're wondering if Zuma is the last of Gwen's children? Not likely. She admits that Gavin wants more kids.

"Gavin loves being a dad and he wants to have a bigger family, too."

They totally need a little girl, so Gwen can play dress up with her! The pic above is Gavin out doing some grocery shopping yesturday. He seems like such a great partner, dad and hubby and one who doesn't mind being hands on at all! Plus well he's super hot too!!

Christina Aguilera was out in full force as she promoted her new fragrance, "Inspire" at Macy's in NYC yesterday. Christina decided to ditch her normal red lips for a more plum color and I have to say I'm liking it. Your thoughts on her dress? Make-up? The perfume itself?

The shots of her and Max are from the day before as she was signing autographs in NYC.  It's going to be fun watching how she dresses Max up!
