I am your afternoon "homestretch" host...3pm till 7pm every Monday through Friday...as well as, assistant program/music director.
Be sure to join me every Monday-Friday for Brain Drain Trivia at 3:35pm...i'll have some great prizes for you (like pizza from Blue Baker).
Also tune in for the Retro Ride at 5--you pick the songs and i play them, so try to come up with something you haven't heard in a while and see if i can find it for you...But wait, there's more. I have the retro rewind at 5:20pm when i play a few seconds of a retro tune backwards and you tell me title and artist for prizes...Cool huh?

The "True Son Of Elvis"
I have been at MIX since 1994, and have lived in Bryan/College Station for, it seems like, FOREVER--but i have loved it here!
Originally, i am from Ennis, Texas and for those that don't know, it's a small town on interstate 45 about 30 miles south of Dallas. i graduated from Ennis High School and our colors were maroon and white and our fight song--the Aggie War Hym, so since i didn't attend college here, i hope that gives me an Aggie connection in some way.
I am also a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and i am a "FIghting Lumberjack", so AXE 'EM JACKS!
I am involved in a lot of local theatre and performing, so when i am in a production, check here from time to time because i will let you know about it so you can come check me out....boo, hiss, cheer--as long as you get there!

Brain Drain at 3:35 has your shot at Grand Station grand bucks. I'll open the ticket window between 4 and 5pm for New Kids On The Block tickets!
On the ride home at 5, i'll have winning from Baskets on the Brazos for a $25 gift basket during the retro rewind...the song is from the disco era, 5 word title and i'll give you the artist--KC & the Sunshine Band...it's tough so good luck!

First of all, let me say that if you want to go to the Family 2 Family Children's Consignment sale this weekend with a $20 certificate, just be the first person to call me at 4pm at 846-HITS and it is yours!
Brain Drain happens before that at 3:35 this afternoon for a $25 grand bucks card at Grand Station. I'll open the ticket window sometime between 3 and 6pm for a pair of tickets to the Texas Renaissance Festival..
During the retro ride at 5, i have a new sponsor...Baskets On The Brazos and i'll have a $25 gift basket from there on the retro rewind. The song is from the 80s, 3 word title (it "rocks") and is by a group with a feline sounding name...good luck.

I have the brain drain at 3:35 this afternoon for grand bucks to use at Grand Station Entertainment. Be sure to try to win because is it will also qualify you for the Game Date Giveaway for tickets to this weekend's Aggie home football game....KO & Dee will draw the name tomorrow morning.
On the ride home, you'll have the chance to pick up another $25 certificate to the Family 2 Family children's consignment sale this weekend at the Brazos Center. The song is from the 80s and has a great video, one word title and the singer used to be in the group Genesis...good luck!
