Mark Consuelos is definitely a hands on dad. While attending his 16-year-old son's high school wrestling match, the Riverdale star was seen storming the mat after Joaquin Consuelos's head gear came off. The whole incident was caught on video.

The video was shared by TMZ on Saturday (December 21) and depicts the incident in full. As Joaquin was fighting, his opponent appears to rip his protective headgear off. After the headgear was removed, the match was not paused by the referee and Joaquin's opponent kept striking him. When the match kept going, Mark appeared on the mat in an attempt to protect his son.

According to E! News, Mark was "coming from a protective parental place" and only approached the mat "after seeing his son's headgear got ripped off by his opponent and the referee not calling it." Mark was joined at the matched by his wife, Kelly Ripa, though she does not appear in the video.

The other parent filming the match heckled Mark after he walked out onto the mat. You can hear him telling Mark to calm down and that it's only a high school wrestling match. Joaquin ultimately lost the match, as well, and neither Mark or Kelly have made a comment about the video.
